The exhibition will be opened by Mihály Vargha, director of the Székely National Museum
The curator of the exhibition is Péter Madaras, sculptor
The event is held with consideration to reduce the risk of the spreading of coronavirus pandemic, wearing masks properly and maintaining the required social distance during the event is obligatory
The exhibition can be visited between the 3rd of July and the 6th of August 2021, from Tuesdays to Fridays from 10 to 17, and on Saturdays between 10 and 18

Artur Vetro, sculptor I Temesvár/Timișoara, 30 August 1919 – Kolozsvár/Cluj Napoca, 25 February 1992
He is a graduate of the Piarist High School in Temesvár. In 1938, he enrolled at the School of Fine Arts in Temesvár, where he studied sculpture, under the guidance of Romulus Ladea, Gyula Podlipny and Catul Bogdan. In 1940 he entered the Academy of Fine Arts in Budapest, where his teachers were Ferenc Sidló and Zsigmond Strobl Kisfaludi, and had István Szőnyi, as his drawing professor. During his years at the college, he met Nándor Gallasz, who was already suffering from health problems at the time. This acquaintance had a major influence on his artistic development. In 1945, he returned to Temesvár, where he became involved almost immediately in the artistic life of the city, participating in numerous group exhibitions. At the same time, he began teaching at the Technical School of Fine Arts in Temesvár and became a member of the Romanian Fine Artists’ Union which was being set up at the time. In 1948, when the Art Institute of Kolozsvár was organized, of the generation of young artists he was invited to join the team of professors at the sculpture department. In 1950, the Hungarian Art Institute was abolished, and from then until 1983 he was a professor at the "Ion Andreescu" College of Fine Arts. Between 1959 and 1968 he was also the dean of the institution. Among his outstanding students were László Hunyadi, Ingo Glass, József Miholcsa, András Vetró, Attila Dienes, Mihály Vargha, Géza Starmüller Jr.
