The short biography of the artist:
Zsolt BODONI (b. Aleșd, 1975), after graduating from the High School of Art in Târgu Mureș, obtained a diploma in Graphic Arts at the Hungarian College of Fine Arts. He is one of the founders, main organizer and permanent participant of the Art Colony of Aleșd, which has turned 27 years old this year. He opened solo exhibitions in Milan, London, New York, Buffalo, Los Angeles and Dubai.
From the early creative period as a young artist, he has been interested in the creative use of constraints and their feasible transformation, as well as the possibility of stepping out of the frame of the more specific genres of visual creation through experimentation. Zsolt Bodoni’s paintings repeat and mix key elements from the universal history of art and his own work. All this is done in a way that collage technique creates something new, invisible to the naked eye.

Brief description of the exhibition:
Zsolt Bodoni's works exhibited here are the fruit of the last three years, here the artist realizes his collages through the hybrid imaging technique: in the same frame, through different light effects, two successive compositions unfold on the painted surface.
The exhibition is accompanied by a trilingual catalogue in a special design with a foreword by Zuh Deodáth, a biography of the artist, a list and high-quality photographic reproductions of the exhibited works.
